Learn more about the second ChemEd Summit, which will be held on March 13, 2026, at Talley Student Union.

ChemEd Summit 2026 is an implementation-focused summit that builds on insights from our first ChemEd Summit, and recent collaborations with the American Chemical Society, to incorporate identified workforce and professional skills into curricular development.

Using scenarios informed by industry and recent innovations in academia, participants will collaboratively develop plans to integrate key knowledge, skills and abilities — including AI literacy, communication (beyond traditional technical writing), project management, adaptability, interdisciplinarity and real-world problem solving — across the chemistry curriculum.

Date: March 13, 2026
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: NC State University, Talley Student Union, Coastal Ballroom

The event will have the following goals:
